REVIEW OF "COOKING FOR ISAIAH": “Cooking for Isaiah” is a phenomenal cookbook, which just happens to be gluten and dairy free.Your gluten-full friends and family would enjoy every dish as much as those that are gluten-free.The love Silvana has for her family shines through, with many personal stories and comments throughout the cookbook.Also included are many drool-inducing recipe photographs and fun candid shots of Silvana’s family.
Throughout her career Silvana has had a passion for food, owning a bakery in New York and most recently serving as Editor in Chief of Every Day with Rachel Ray Magazine. Silvana began cooking gluten-free and dairy-free when her son Isaiah was diagnosed with intolerance to both.No doubt those experiences all had a hand in helping her develop this wonderful cookbook.
Many recipes stood out to Glutenista (below) but the most meaningful to Glutenista was the GFCF Waffle Cone recipe.Glutenista had her first ice cream cone in 7 years and it was*amazing*.Thank you Silvana for that, truly. (if anyone follows Glutenista on Twitter you get how much ice cream is consumed in the office J)
