Ingredients for Microwave Salted CaramelsRecipe:

1/4 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 Cup Light Karo Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla (optional, for vanilla salted caramel)
Kosher Salt

Step-by-Step Directions for Microwave Salted Caramels:

Liberally grease a 9x9 or 8x8 pan
Combine all ingredients (except salt) in a microwave safe bowl
Microwave for 6 minutes, stopping every 2 minutes to stir
Pour into pan and sprinkle with kosher salt
Cool (on the counter, in the fridge, or in the freezer if you are impatient like me)
Cut into squares or rectangles and wrap in wax paper
Enjoy!
